NEW YORK - The Spotted Pig restaurant in the West Village has served its last meal.

Tony Nassif, the head chef at the popular restaurant, posted a message about the closure Monday on Instagram saying, "Aurevoir Spotted Pig. It's been real."

The closure follows a year-long investigation by the state Attorney General into the Spotted Pig's owner Kenneth Friedman, who was accused of making unwanted advances toward female workers.

Friedman was ordered to pay $240,000 and 20 percent of his future profits over the next 10 years to 11 accusers.

Friedman denied several of the allegations, but apologized for being part of an environment where women were afraid to speak up.

He recently agreed to step down as operator.
