NEW YORK - The NYPD Hate Crimes Unit is investigating after anti-Semitic grafitti was found inside a Manhattan apartment building.

Police say a custodian found swastikas, Jewish stars, and anti-Semitic phrases drawn on multiple floors.

This happened on Grand Street near East Broadway on the Lower East Side.

No arrests have been made.

Meanwhile, Attorney General William Barr will be in the city Tuesday meeting with Jewish leaders.

It's taking place in Boro Park, Brooklyn.

This comes amid a rise in anti-semitic incidents in the city and state, including last month's Hanukkah attack in Rockland County.

Police say Grafton Thomas attacked a group of  Hassidic Jews gathered at a rabbi's home in  Monsey, New York to celebrate the holiday.

Five people were injured.
