NEW YORK - A man has been arrested in Manhattan after being accused of beating two traffic agents with a pipe.

Police say Michael Didonato assaulted the agents Tuesday when they issued him a parking summons on 28th Street and Broadway.

No one was seriously injured, and Didonato was arrested later that night.

Chief of Detectives Rodney Harrison tweeted about the incident saying, "An assault on any member of the service will NOT be tolerated and will be met with swift justice."
