Governor Andrew Cuomo is expanding his investigation into a Bronx housing management company after complaints of bed bugs, mold and drug crimes.

The governor is calling on state agencies to inspect four additional buildings managed by Five Star Management.

It comes after he initially sent teams to a building at White Plains Road and East 216th Street in Olinville last month after tenants had complained for more than a year about bed bugs, roaches and mice, as well as allegations of drug-related crimes in that building.

After the initial investigation was announced, tenants from other buildings managed by Five Star came forward with their own simillar complaints. Now, the investigation encompases all of Five Star Management's buildings.

Cuomo says if any violations are found, the inspector general may get involved.
