NEW YORK - Police are searching for the man who allegedly raped a woman over the weekend.
Investigators say the 31-year-old victim was going to a friend's house when she asked the man for directions near West 51st Street in Hell's Kitchen early Sunday morning.
That's when police say he offered to help the woman, but brought her to a different location and raped her.
The woman, who is not from the city, is bruised all over her body.
She was treated at the hospital.
