NEW YORK - The Mets' season might be over but one fan says he's still dealing with an injury he got during a game in June.

Alex Swanson is suing the team for negligence after he says a t-shirt cannon launched a shirt right into his face.

Swanson says he was knocked off his feet and fell backwards, hit his head and lost consciousness.

A lawyer for the longtime Mets fan says a CAT scan showed that he suffered a concussion and severe eye trauma.

The suit claims Swanson is nearly blind, and his retina was almost severed during the incident.

Swanson says he was offered free tickets from the Mets, but he wants the team to be held accountable and stop using the t-shirt cannon.

The Mets are not commenting on the lawsuit.
