BRONX, N.Y. -  An associate principal of a private yeshiva in the Bronx has been arrested on child pornography charges, over allegations that he tricked one of his own students into sending explicit photos.

Jonathan Skolnick, an administrator at the SAR Academy in Riverdale, faces a number of charges including possession of child pornography and extortionate communications.

He is accused of texting a male student and requesting nude photos, all while posing as several teenage girls.

The allegations date back to March, and claim that when the victim refused to send more photos Skolnick threatened to release the ones already sent.

He is is due to appear in district court Wednesday and has already been fired by the school.
