STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. - Police are investigating after a 17-year-old boy was shot outside a deli on Staten Island.

The NYPD says the teen got into an argument with a man at the Castleton Deli in Port Richmond around 11:45 p.m.

The man pulled a gun and shot the teen in the chest.

The teen was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.
