BRONX, N.Y. - Nearly a dozen people were injured after an apartment building fire broke out late Thursday night in the Bronx.

Fire officials say crews were called to 917 Ogden Avenue just after 11:30 p.m.

They say the flames were on the fifth floor, sixth floor and the cockloft of the building.

It eventually spread to the adjacent building.

Eleven people including six firefighters were injured.

Although non of the injuries were life-threatening, one person did sustain a serious injury.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
