Former Yankees reliever Mariano Rivera was inducted into the baseball Hall of Fame this afternoon in Cooperstown.

Rivera is the first-ever player voted into the hall by a unanimous vote.

He spent his entire career from 1995 to 2013 in pinstripes.

The man widely considered the greatest relief pitcher of all time holds the record for both regular season saves with 652 and post-season saves with 42.

Rivera helped the Yankees win five World Series championships and was MVP of the 1999 World Series and the 2003 ALCS.

Former Yankees starting pitcher Mike Mussina will also be inducted.

He pitched in New York from 2001 to 2008, and before that spent 10 years with the Baltimore Orioles.

He will not have any team's logo on his hall-of-fame plaque.

Roy Halladay and Edgar Martinez are also being inducted.
