NEW YORK - Police in Manhattan are investigating after another pride flag was burned outside of an LGBTQ bar early Monday morning, and comes just weeks after an identical incident.

The flag was set on fire around 12:20 a.m. outside of the Alibi Lounge located at 2376 Adam Clayton Powell Jr Boulevard in Harlem.

This is the second time a pride flag was burned at the bar this year.

The same thing happened back in May.

Officials say a man burned the flag while people were inside.

"Needless to say that we are at a loss of words. We're shocked it will happen again so soon or that it would happen again period. Tonight, I have to say that we are all very sad about the whole situation," said Alexi Minko, the bar's owner.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported in either incidents.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the CrimeStoppers website at or on Twitter @NYPDTips.
