NEW YORK - Police have identified the man they believe fatally shot another man in Harlem last week.

Officials say 20-year-old Eric Bautista shot Winston McKay while he was walking his dog on 146th Street and Amsterdam Avenue on June 10.

Police say surveillance video shows the suspect pointing a rifle at a 26-year-old man.

Police say Bautista threatened to shoot him, but the shot he fired missed that person and instead hit 40-year-old McKay in the leg.

The victim's husband says the bullet severed an artery, and McKay died at Harlem Hospital.

Authorities say Bautista is about 5'8" tall, weighs 170 pounds and has braided hair.
