A synagogue on Staten Island is spray painted with hateful words.

Now the NYPD's Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating.

Video shows the words "Synagogue of Satan" written out on the side of the building.

This happened at the Chabad Lubavitch of Staten Island in Manor Heights.

Assemblyman Michael Cusick, who represents the borough, tweeted about the incident saying:

"This act of anti-Semitism must be condemned in the strongest terms and I will work with the NYPD to take swift action to bring the perpetrators to justice. Hatred of any kind is not welcome on Staten Island."
