The best of the year's music will be recognized tonight at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards. This year, the main categories were expanded from five to eight nominees. And those categories were dominated by women and hip hop.

Kendrick Lamar leads with eight nominations, including Album of the Year for the "Black Panther" soundtrack.

Nominees for the Grammy's most prestigious award, Album of the Year, include Kendrick Lamar, along with Cardi B, Drake, Kacey Musgraves and Post Malone.

Bronx native Cardi B could be a bigger winner tonight.

She's nominated in five categories: Album and Record of the Year, Rap Album, Rap Performance, and Pop Duo Group Performance.

Fifteen-time Grammy award winning singer Alicia Keys is hosting the show, which kicks off at 8 p.m.
