QUEENS, N.Y. - A woman is facing charges after she allegedly stole a disabled city teen's customized wheelchair.

Police say Manera Martinez took the chair from the teen's home in Jackson Heights on Christmas Day.

It had been chained to a fence outside.

The $5,000 chair was specially made for Michelle Molina, who has scoliosis and a neurological disorder.

Police later found the chair abandoned on the street.

Martinez is charged with grand larceny, and possession of stolen property.
