NEW YORK - Thousands of birds fly through the city every day, but one in particular is the talk of the Big Apple this week.

A Mandarin Duck has been spotted in the Central Park Pond.

The Mandarin Duck is commonly found in China and Japan, but not in the U.S.

According to studies, this duck's colors indicate it's a male, while the female is more of a solid brown.

The Wildlife Conservation Society says the bird did not come from any city zoos.

Other photos online show the duck wearing a rubber band around it's right leg, which means it could have an owner.
