NEW YORK - Three Port Authority police officers are being called heroes after they save a man who was suffering from a heart attack over the weekend.

Police say Britney Lukenovich, Chris Sanchez and Peter Thorp responded to the baggage area of Terminal 4 on Sunday afternoon.

That's where they found a 69-year-old man who went into cardiac arrest and became unresponsive.

The man had just gotten off a flight from Dublin.

The officers began CPR, and used a defibrillator until EMS arrived.

He was taken to the hospital where he stabilized and regained consciousness.
