A man from Brooklyn is facing charges in connection with a suspected mob hit in the Bronx last week.

Police say Bushawn Shelton plotted the deadly shooting of Sylvester Zottola, 71, as he was waiting in the drive-thru at the McDonald's on Webster Avenue in Claremont on Oct. 4.

Zottola allegedly had ties to the Bonanno crime family.

The U.S. Attorney's Office says investigators found $45,000 cash and a loaded gun after searching Shelton's home in East New York.

He is charged with conspiracy to commit murder for hire, but is not charged with murder in the case.

Shelton is believed to be a high-ranking member of the Bloods gang.
