NEW YORK - The 92nd annual Feast of San Gennaro starts Thursday in Little Italy.

The 11 day festival kicks off with the blessing of the stands.

The anticipated Canoli Eating contest returns Friday.

Throughout the celebration there are religious processions, colorful parades, music, and most importantly authentic Italian food.

The Feast is New York City's largest and longest running festivals and attracts more than one-million people from around the world each year.

The festival will continue through September 23.
