The city fire department is on the scene of a residential building collapse on Staten Island.

The detached, three-story home located at 109 Sherman Avenue in St. George came crashing down around 5:30 a.m.

 

No one was hurt.
 
It's still not clear what caused the collapse.
 
The incident is what is known as a pancake collapse - three floors collapsed onto the first.

The Red Cross was on the scene helping those displaced.
