Commuters at Grand Central Terminal got much more than just a ticket to ride Friday night.

Ex-Beatle Paul McCartney played a free pop-up concert at the famed train station's Vanderbilt Hall.

Only about 300 people were allowed to attend.

The show was livestreamed on YouTube.

McCartney dropped hints about the concert on social media and during an appearance on Thursday night's Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

The music superstar is out promoting his new album "Egypt Station." He performed music off that album as well as some of his classics.

Special MetroCards promoting the album are also for sale, but only at Grand Central.
