Three utility workers were injured in an overnight manhole explosion in Brooklyn.
It happened just before 1 a.m. at South 2nd Street and Union Avenue in Williamsburg.
Flames could be seen shooting up out of the street.
A spokeswoman for National Grid said workers were investigating a gas leak when the manhole exploded.
Three workers were brought to the hospital for burns to their faces and arms.
