A tractor trailer hit a tree and damaged several parked cars in Queens Tuesday night.
The truck hit the tree in Whitestone and drove for blocks with a broken branch lodged between the cab and the trailer.
More than a dozen cars were damaged along 14th Avenue between 147th and 154th streets.
"He just drove all the way down, took everyone's mirrors and broke windows and messed everything up. It kind of stinks that a lot of the truck drivers in the area keep going through the side streets. They should be on the larger roads," said one Whitestone resident.
The driver was given two tickets.
No one was hurt.
