Police are searching for the person responsible for a deadly shooting inside a Queens bodega.

Police received a call of shots being fired inside the "5 De Mayo Food Market" on Roosevelt Avenue in Jackson Heights Thursday night.

When officers arrived, they found a 31-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his chest.

He was taken to Elmhurst Hospital, where he later died. 

The victim's name has not yet been released.
