NEW YORK - Mayor Bill de Blasio will be out of the city for the next few days.

First he's headed to Baltimore to attend conferences and panel discussions, and to speak with other mayors and leaders.

Then he's on to Austin on Saturday and Washington on Monday.

The trip is once again fueling speculation the mayor is plotting a presidential run in 2020.

He's said before he has no intention of doing that.

His spokesperson tells NY1 that de Blasio is "working to organize mayors and progressive leaders against the Trump administration's efforts to decrease health care access, divest from public housing, and make our tax policy even less fair for working people. Fighting for New Yorkers and our global city requires any mayor to occasionally travel outside the five boroughs."
