Just in time for Valentine's Day you can explore Brooklyn's chocolate history.

For more than a century, Brooklyn has been home to some of the city’s finest chocolate makers. The Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce has released its Chocolate Tasting Trail Map.

It directs visitors to 12 of the boroughs chocolate factories and shops. At these locations, you can sample a variety of treats, learn how they're made, and meet some of the chocolate makers. Organizers say it's a way to get people to help the borough's economy by shopping locally. A guided bus tour is also available. For more information go to www.ExploreBrooklyn.com
