NEW YORK - The iconic 21 Club in Midtown is closed because of flooding.

The cold snap in early January caused several pipes to burst at the restaurant on West 52nd Street.

The water caused significant damage inside.

The restaurant's general manager says the main dining area and lounge are expected to reopen in early March and the private event rooms in late spring or early summer.

He says most of the artwork and special treasures were spared.

The club is known for its celebrity clients including President Donald Trump, who was a regular when he lived in the city.
