New Yorkers are facing icy conditions Sunday as they clear their cars, sidewalks, and driveways after the first snowfall of the season in the city.

Roads and sidewalks are a bit slick in spots after the Saturday snowfall, which made the city look like a winter wonderland.

While many were outside enjoying the weather, the city sanitation department was hard at work; at least 700 salt spreaders and 1,2500 snow plows spent the day salting highways and streets.

Parts of the city saw more than four inches of snow Saturday.
