SAN ANTONIO -- At least 700 kids will be opening up presents this Christmas all thanks to a local organization.

With help from volunteers, SAMMinistries wrapped about 3,000 presents on Saturday. This is the sixth year the organization welcomed the community to take part.

Each gift is donated and wrapped up before being delivered. Presents will go to families involved in the ministries' programs.

"For many of these kids, it's amazing, it makes a tremendous difference and gives them some additional hope at this time of year,” Nikisha Baker, with SAMMinistries said.

SAMMinistries is still accepting gift donations through next Saturday. For more information you can visit their website.
