NEW YORK - If you’re in the Lower East Side this weekend, you may find yourself in a pickle.

The Annual Pickle Day is taking place this Sunday on Orchard Street between Delancey and Houston Streets.

Organizers say the event, which has been held for the last 17 years, pays homage to the neighborhood’s history, when streets were lined with pickle-selling pushcarts.

Fans of the crunchy sandwich sidekick can pick up all sorts of pickle-flavored treats.

The fair runs from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. and also features plenty of other food, live music, and giveaways.
