Another international food festival took place in the World's Borough this weekend.

The 82nd Street Partnership held its Viva La Comida food festival on Saturday afternoon in Elmhurst.

About a dozen food vendors, representing various countries, were there to give attendees a "taste" of their cultures.

There were also live music performances and community resources available.

"You pretty much can name a country in South America, Central America and Asia and you will find it here," said Leslie Ramos, the executive director at the 82nd Street Partnership.

This was the sixth year the organization held the festival.
