NEW YORK - Art lovers will be 'drinking' it all in at a new exhibit in Manhattan.

The "Gitler And" Gallery in Hamilton Heights is hosting "99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall", a series of paintings inspired by beer bottles.

Tom Sanford, the artist behind the project, drank and painted a different variety of beer each day for the past 99 days.

He says there's more at play in his works than just booze.

"The bottle sort of visually inspires me to paint in one way, or maybe the interaction I had with the person while I'm drinking with that friend I shared the beer with. Or just the significance of the beer in my mind. I might associate it with something and so I'll paint the painting accordingly," Sanford said.

The show opens tomorrow and lasts until August 30.
