The dead have risen in Brooklyn, but it's not brains they're interested in.
The annual Zombie Crawl shuffled its way through Williamsburg Sunday.
Participants got their makeup done for free, and then hit the streets in character, going from bar to bar.
"It is just about celebrating horror culture, zombie culture and special effects - artists and artistry, that kind of stuff," said Doug Sackman, the event's organizer.
This was the Zombie Crawl's 11th year.
