The FDNY says two people were injured in a manhole explosion in East Harlem.
It happened just after 2:30 p.m. Saturday on 110th Street and Second Avenue.
Two contractors received flesh burns to the face, a Con Edison spokesperson said.
The Con Edison spokesperson said the workers were making repairs on electrical wires in the ground at the site.
The injured workers were taken to Harlem Hospital.
