This Valentine's Day Times Square is showing love for immigrants.

This heart-shaped installation called "We Were Strangers Once Too" features statistics about foreign-born New Yorkers etched onto metal poles.

The firm that designed it says its goal is to celebrate the contributions of immigrants.

Onlookers we spoke with say they think the artwork is attractive...

"It's very creative, it's different, art always enhances, I think, our lives, just in general," said one man. "I think immigrants are immigrants, but we were all immigrants at one point."

The sculpture will be up until March 5.
