Workers in the tech industry joined refugee advocates to protest President Trump's travel ban.

Dozens rallied in Union Square Friday night.

They view Trump's Executive Order as a threat to their city's diversity and say it will badly affect their industry.

Employees of Spotify, Etsy and Warby Parker are among those speaking out against the ban.

"I happened to see this event online a few hours ago and I've been trying to do all I can to speak out against actions of the Trump administration and of course there's so much to be speaking out on right now and so much to protest," said one protester.

"The rollout of this ban was completely a failure that it was from different branches of the executive had no idea what to do," said another. "That Homeland Security disagreed with the president."

The group Amnesty International organized the event.
