NEW YORK - It appears that getting rich was on the minds of most New Yorkers when they searched Google in 2016.

The search engine says Powerball winning numbers were the top-trending search in the city this year.

That was followed by the late singer-songwriter Prince, and then Donald Trump.

The President-elect was the most-Googled person of the year in New York, followed by Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders.

Olympic swimmers Michael Phelps and Ryan Lochte round out the top five.

Google's findings show New Yorkers may have become more health-conscious in 2016.

The top Trending "Near Me" or "Nearby" searches were looking for juice bars and vegan food.
