New York State has launched a toll free hotline to report potential hate crimes.

Governor Andrew Cuomo says the hotline is a response to a recent uptick in reports of discrimination, bias-motivated threats, harassment and violence across the state.

All five of the city's District Attorneys released a joint statement Tuesday saying bias crimes are becoming more commonplace, and that a number of incidents have been reported since Election Day.

You can file a complaint with the Division of Human Rights by calling 888-392-3644.

The hotline is open during weekday business hours.
