New Yorkers got a sneak peak of the latest interior design trends on the streets of Boerum Hill.

The 4th annual Brooklyn Design Walk was held Saturday. Designers from across the city showed off their ideas for decorating living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms.

Participants say the event is unique with room designs set up outside for people to stroll through.

"It's a really interesting mix for me to have temporary spaces out in the street and give back to my community and that's probably my favorite thing about living and working in this neighborhood," said designer Jessica Lynn Williams.

"It's beautiful, the more opportunities we have to be outside and create art in public and use public space the better," said one neighborhood resident.

There were showcases of 3D printing, furniture, wine and ceramics too.
