An Amber Alert has been canceled after police say a 4-year-old Bronx girl with Down Syndrome and her mother were found Tuesday morning.
Investigators say they believe both are safe.
No further details have been released.
Police say 4-year-old Mia Olarte was last seen around 5 p.m. Monday at a foster care center on Brown Place in Mott Haven.
She was having a supervised visit with her mother, Dora Olarte, who does not have custody.
