A Brooklyn-born rapper who is facing gun and drug charges has been arrested again, this time for allegedly trying to smuggle a possible weapon into Rikers Island.

Ackquille Pollard, better known as Bobby Shmurda, faces several charges including murder, attempted murder, assault and drug dealing. He pleaded not guilty and is being held on $2 million bail.

His girlfriend, 18-year-old Kimberly Rousseau, is accused of trying to smuggle in a sharp metal object to him.

Shmurda pleaded not guilty to the same charges.

Shmurda is best known for the song "Hot Boy" and creating the popular dance move known as the "Shmoney Dance".
