Starting today, parents can enroll their kids in pre-kindergarten for September.

Mayor Bill de Blasio took a trip to the Bronx on Sunday to spread the word about universal pre-k.

The program promises free full-day education for the city's pre-kindergarten students.

"This is a chance to really make a huge impact on our children's lives and really make their education stronger. So let's get out there and spread the word guys," De Blasio said.

Any child who lives in the city and was born in 2011 is eligible to enter pre-k in September.

The enrollment period runs through Friday, April 24.
