Manhattan City Councilmember Gale Brewer and other city and state officials will host a town hall Tuesday night on what they say has become a free-for-all environment for illegal marijuana businesses on the Upper West Side.

A recent survey by Brewer’s office revealed that of the 61 bodegas, delis and smoke shops surveyed, at least 26 of them were illicit cannabis retailers and 22 of those were also selling tobacco without a license.

Brewer and her office went block to block in her district from West 108th Street down to West 54th Street to compile the data, according to the public official.

Brewer joined the “Mornings on 1” team Tuesday to discuss the survey, and to explain how she plans to take action against the recent trend.
