Preparing Thanksgiving dinner will be more expensive this year.

According to the American Farm Bureau Federation, Thanksgiving dinner will cost 20% more this November than it did last year.

A feast for 10 people with 12 menu items including a turkey, stuffing, cranberries and pumpkin pie will cost a little more than $64 dollars on average, up almost $11 dollars from last year.

The price of a 16-pound turkey is almost $29 on average this year, 21% higher than last year.

While inflation did cool down last month, there are still many price increases at the grocery store.

Faith Durand, the editor-in-chief of the food website Kitchn, joined Shannan Ferry Sunday morning on NY1 to discuss how to save money this Thanksgiving.
