Council member Gale Brewer, who represents parts of the Upper West Side, joined Errol Louis on "Inside City Hall" to discuss the debate over the future of a historic church, as the Landmarks Preservation Commission determines its status. Church officials have been trying to sell the property to developers, saying it would be too expensive to restore it. But Brewer and advocates say proposed plans for the space do not include enough affordable housing. Brewer also explained why she’s calling on the NYPD to crack down on illegal parking, including the abuse of parking placards. And she discussed her fight to reduce the number of helicopters flying above the five boroughs.
