A new survey asked 62,000 New Yorkers what Mayor Eric Adams should prioritize as his new administration reaches its 100th day. Their top answers: public housing and public safety.

A new initiative from the city and its nonprofit partners, NYC Speaks produced the in-depth survey as part of a six-month push to gather data to inform Adams’ decisions.

Jose Serrano-McClain, the co-executive director of NYC Speaks, joined Errol Louis on “Inside City Hall” Wednesday to discuss the results of the survey and how the initiative plans to get New Yorkers themselves to interpret the data.
