NEW YORK — Gov. Kathy Hochul and several lawmakers were in East Harlem on Tuesday, touring Phase 2 of the Second Avenue subway tunnel, as the MTA prepares to receive new federal funds from the recently passed infrastructure law. The project would extend the Q line all the way to 125th Street, where passengers would be able to connect to the Lexington Avenue line and easily transfer to the Metro-North Railroad.

Rep. Carolyn Maloney, whose district covers most of the East Side of Manhattan, as well as certain neighborhoods in Queens and Brooklyn, joined NY1 political anchor Errol Louis on “Inside City Hall” on Tuesday evening to talk about the infrastructure project and much more.
