The 78th annual Golden Globes have officially been presented!

Hope you followed along with Spectrum News 1 and our own Bianca Rae for all the highlights and important updates as they happened during Sunday's ceremony.

The show's hosts presented from different sides of the country, with Amy Poehler in Beverly Hills and Tina Fey in New York's Rainbow Room.

Netflix came with a commanding 42 nominations, including a leading six nods for David Fincher’s Mank and The Crown also topping TV nominees with six nods. Aaron Sorkin’s The Trial of the Chicago 7, also from Netflix, was also a heavyweight with five nominations. See the full list here.

8:00 p.m. PST — Nomadland wins Best Motion Picture – Drama

7:58 p.m. PST — Andra Day wins Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama for The United States vs. Billie Holiday

7:51 p.m. PST — Sacha Baron Cohen wins Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for Borat

The comedian humorously praised Rudy Giuliani's performance in his acceptance speech.

7:44 p.m. PST — “Borat Subsequent Moviefilm” wins Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy

Sacha Baron Cohen opened his speech by thanking the "all-white" Hollywood Foreign Press.

7:35 p.m. PST — Chloe Zhao wins Best Director (Motion Picture) for Nomadland

Zhao becomes the second woman to win the award for directing in 78 years.

7:31 p.m. PST — The late Chadwick Boseman wins Best Actor in a Motion Picture (Drama) for Ma Rainey's Black Bottom

Boseman's widow, Simone Ledward Boseman, tearfully accepted the award on his behalf.

7:24 p.m. PST — The Queen's Gambit wins in the Best Television Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television category

7:22 p.m. PST — Anya Taylor-Joy wins for The Queen’s Gambit in the category: Best Performance by an Actress in a Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television

7:14 p.m. PST — Gillian Anderson wins for The Crown in the category: Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television

7:12 p.m. PST — Jodie Foster wins Best Actress in a Supporting Role in Any Motion Picture for The Mauritanian

7:02 p.m. PST — Jane Fonda accepts Cecil B. DeMille Award: "Let's be leaders"

6:55 p.m. PST — The Crown wins Best Television Series – Drama

6:48 p.m. PST — Minari wins Best Motion Picture – Foreign Language

6:41 p.m. PST — Josh O'Connor Wins Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series (Drama) for The Crown

O'Connor thanked his co-star and fellow Globe winner Emma Corrin for being a great player of "Rock-paper-scissors."

6:32 p.m. PST — Rosamund Pike wins Best Actress in a Motion Picture (Musical or Comedy) for I Care a Lot

6:22 p.m. PST — Schitt's Creek wins Best Television Series (Musical or Comedy)

After a technical glitch, Kaluuya was finally able to present his acceptance speech virtually.

5:00 p.m. PST — The 78th Annual Golden Globes kick off

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler each take the stage on opposite coasts. First responders fill the room as audience members, instead of the usual celebrities.

In addition to the usual riffing on this year's nominated celebrities, the hosts targeted HFPA's lack of diversity in their opening monologue.
