Donald Trump took to social media Saturday morning to respond to Cruz's "apology" to New Yorkers.
In a Tweet the real estate mogul said "The Ted Cruz wiseguy apology to the people of New York is a disgrace. Remember, his wife's employer, and his lender, is located there!"

Cruz's wife, Heidi is a Managing Director for Goldman Sachs in Houston, Texas.
The banking firm's main headquarters is located in Manhattan.
The "lender" that Trump is referring to is likely Citibank.
The New York Times reports that Cruz failed to report a loan the bank gave to his successful 2012 Senate campaign.

The Times says Cruz has a sent a letter acknowledging the mistake to federal election officials.
