Priest Shot in Shoulder in South Ozone Park

A priest was shot while walking in South Ozone Park, Queens.

Investigators say it happened around midnight near 134^th Street and Rockaway Boulevard.

A 49-year-old priest was shot in the shoulder while simply walking by.

He was taken to Jamaica Hospital and is in stable condition.

Police believe he was a bystander and not a target.

No arrests have been made.
